Moth Design blog recommendation ? I became particularly enamoured with Erica's tiny glass bud vases and ceramic urchin votive. She displayed tiny clusters of them in many rooms throughout her home.

I found that they were still available at
Velocity Art & Design and used my trusty US forwarding service,
MyUS to get them shipped here to Australia! Yippee!!! And here they are in Australia - simply perfect!

They are stunning, its funny how we all fall in love with different things from an image, I love the framed coral & didnt notice the vases until you pointed them out, now I am in love with them as well!!!

ReplyDeleteps-I've been meaning to pop by and say that for the glass orbs, I know they have them at Crate and Barrel, but they might also be at Z Gallerie too.
Oh, they're just gorgeous, KL! After doing some internet window shopping recently and then seeing the postage cost at checkout, I lost a little bit of faith in ordering from the US. Are the postage costs quite reasonable through the forwarding company you use?

Love her style and design , just beautiful. All those soft muted colours are my fave. That bar cart in the ensuite is a great idea and looks so lovely brimming with the pretty vases and votives. Where can you buy them? Ps my shipping costs for my exterior lights from RH came to $550 but again I had to hassle them down from $700. Hopefully that's my last US order. Can't afford anymore!!

ReplyDeleteIt's great to find someone with similar aesthetics; they can halve the 'searching' time for accessories! I already have a framed coral piece Trish, so the votives and vases will tie in so well here too. M, the postage costs are still high, they doubled the cost; they use dimentional size rather than weight to calculate cartage. (I bought them from Velocity - there's a link to their site in the post above) But these are not available here so, like Melinda who's also bought from the US, I'm still happy. x KL
